The Dunkirk star turned up to the film’s premiere suited up in the most Tom Hardy way.
The Dunkirk premiere in London yesterday was stacked with well-dressed guys, including Harry Styles, Cillian Murphy, and even Prince Harry. But Tom Hardy was the most stylish attendee, if you ask us. He wore a peak-lapel three-piece suit from Gucci with a subtle diamond print and a shirt and tie in two different types of vertical stripes. In true Tom Hardy fashion, there were lots of little add-ons, too. A burgundy pocket square, a vintage tie pin, some of Gucci’s aged metal rings, a watch, some bracelets, a snake belt buckle, and God knows what else. Hardy narrated the experience of getting dressed with his stylist, Nicole Schneider, on Instagram in a way that only Tom Hardy can:
It takes a man of great DGAF-ness to sit on the toilet, smoke, and say, “I can’t be shagged to choose” when presented with two custom-made Gucci suits, an array of dress shirts (average price: $600), and rock-star jewelry as far as the eye can see. Which is why we love Tom Hardy. The guy wears power suits with all the fixings (and then some) on every red carpet with the nonchalance of, say, Mario Batali.
As for Hardy’s grooming situation, we’re going to assume his dyed-black, super-high undercut is for a role, as he’s been known to play a villain now and again. Because, well, it’s intense. As much as we like Hardy’s rebelliousness when it comes to getting dressed, we sort of prefer him with a buzz cut or choppy crewcut over this ye olde alt-right business. Not that he’s prone to care what anyone else thinks or anything.
